Growing up, Elisha was gifted at a very young age in reading, writing, and music. In Don't Disappoint Daddy, she explores her journey of identity and purpose after having abortions as a teen. Elisha is now passionate about helping others reframe past traumatic events into present triumphs. She’s mentored women for 30 years through their past emotional wounds in her role as a pastor’s wife. She has also written and recorded more than 25 songs. When she’s not writing, speaking, or singing, you can almost always find her watching a game shows, comedy or skillful transformations of hair or homes. Don’t Disappoint Daddy is Elisha’s first non-fiction book.

They refute the observation that abused children become abusive parents, that the children of alcoholics become alcoholic adults, that 'the sins of the fathers are visited upon the heads of children to the third and fourth generation.' Their contribution to humanity is to filter the destructiveness out of their own lineage so the generations downstream will have a strong foundation upon which to build.”
